Elm Park is more than just a Golf and Tennis Club our sporting and social members can enjoy a variety of social activities and partake in various interest groups. Participation in all these activities is through Golf, Tennis or Social membership of the Club.
All adult members of Elm Park Golf and Sports Club are automatically entitled and welcome to join our vibrant and thriving Bridge Club.
Membership and competition is strong enough to field two teams which complete and play in the South Dublin golf club snooker league, with some success winning the league in recent times.
The Committee was formed in 2011 to collect and safeguard relevant information, documents, photographs, newspaper clippings, artefacts, etc. relating to the fabric and heritage of Elm Park Golf Club.
The Art Group meets every Friday morning in the Function Room and provides a social atmosphere in which Elm Park Members can develop their artistic endeavours.
There are threee book clubs and one poetry society, set up by members for members.
The Choir meets from September to mid-April on a Tuesday evening from 8 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. They perform in-house at Christmas, Annual Concerts, Religious Services and a number of charity venues.
A small group of members who have an interest in the Irish Language organise a monthly coffee mornings with a view to providing an opportunity for chat “through the medium”.
Walks are organised on the 2nd Friday of the month, setting off from the Cllub at 10am on a c.5 miles distance. These sociable outings are varied to suit members with some gentle flat walks vs more strenuous cllimbing walks before returning to the Club for some refreshments.
Elm Park is proud and honoured to host the golfers of the Blackrock Flyers Special Olympic Club for coaching sessions every Saturday in the Club, with some 40 members of Elm Park generously giving their time and expertise to assist.
